对胃肠炎儿童致病菌的粪便微生物学检测，现行的多个指南间存在不一致的建议。Clinical Infectious Diseases近期发表研究，在近2500名有胃肠炎症状的儿童中，评估6个现行指南的表现，并对改进方向提出了建议。
